Mrs Smith’s Cottage in Navenby is a rare time capsule of a bygone era. Restored & ready to welcome you thanks to Heritage Lottery Funding.

Conservation in action! 🖌✨ Today it was Mrs Smith Conservation in action! 🖌✨

Today it was Mrs Smith's pantry's turn for a dusting from our conservation assistant. Using soft bristled brushes is a good way to remove surface dust and dirt, without damaging the object underneath.

Mrs Smith also grew her own food in her allotment that was just behind the cottage, and she was self-sufficient for many months of the year.

Happy #WorldEnvironmentDay! On this day, we’re cel Happy #WorldEnvironmentDay! On this day, we’re celebrating the sustainable way of life behind Mrs Smith’s Cottage

Come and discover Mrs Smith’s Cottage and see how her story can inspire your own greener choices.

💚 Be more resourceful
💚 Be more mindful
💚 Be more connected to the world around you

Whether it’s reducing waste, growing something yourself, or simply pausing to appreciate nature, every step counts.

Let’s honour the past and shape a greener future together. 🌎
