Handmade Houses

Year 1 Oak Class, from Navenby CofE School, have been learning about the history of their home by exploring the village of Navenby and visiting Mrs Smith’s Cottage to see how people lived in the past. This exhibition will display their Handmade Houses alongside a trail of hand drawn postcards of their favourite places in the village, showing Navenby from the point of view of its youngest residents.

I like to watch sport on the TV, just like Mrs Smith did.

I used sketches from the class to cut out windows and doors, so they could be brought to life with battery operated tea lights.
