Wallpaper Exhibition
Throughout our Heritage Lottery Fund restoration project the team at Lincoln Conservation have worked to collect and restore examples of each wallpaper layer found within Mrs Smith's Cottage.
In this new exhibition you can pull back the layers and explore the changing decorative schemes in the cottage.
Lino Printing Workshop
Join Harriott Brand for a day long lino printing workshop.
In this workshop you will produce a large scale lino print inspired by the decorative wallpapers found during the Mrs Smith’s Cottage restoration project.
The morning will be spent at Mrs Smith’s Cottage. Exploring decorative interiors to find the inspiration for your own prints. You will create sketches and start cutting your designs into the lino blocks.
There will be a break for lunch as we head over to Navenby Methodist Hall, where we will have enough space to start working on creating prints. The print making process will take time, as you wait for layers to dry.
